Grounds Technician II

The Position

The job of Grounds Technician II is done for the purpose/s of providing grounds maintenance services at assigned site/s; ensuring attractive and safe grounds area/s and athletic fields; protecting against erosion; performing a variety of special grounds maintenance operations; and maintaining grounds for    assemblies, events and/or recreational activities.

Provides leadership and guidance to Grounds Technician I, and possesses the skills and ability to schedule, operate, maintain, and repair irrigation systems.

Requirements 

• Job related experience is desired.
• Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance
• Class “E” Drivers License 
• Pre Employment Physical
• Alcohol and Drug Test

Standard Hours

• 7:00 am to  3:30 pm  Monday through Friday
